Zakat Distribution 2024.

We completed Phase 1 of our Zakat distribution for 2024 in Welipenna, Beruwala, and Galle on 1st March 2024.
Our members and regional coordinators were present during the distribution, supported by our partner MemonAid.

We are pleased to announce that The Charities Network, together with MemonAid, has completed Phase 2 of our Zakat distribution for 2024 from 8th to 10th March.
We provided 2475 packages of essential items to deserving families in Weligama, Akurassa (Poruwa), Matara, Panuwala, Siribopura, Kirinda, Alupotha, Badalkumbura, Kanuluwela, Madagama, and Bakinigahawela who qualify for Zakat support. These families were carefully chosen by our regional coordinators and mosque authorities.
Our heartfelt appreciation goes to MemonAid for their unwavering support.
We are thankful to Allah for allowing us to help those in need, and we pray for Allah’s Rahma, Guidance, and Blessings in our future endeavors.

We’ve finished Phase 3 of our 2024 Zakath.
Phase 3 took place in Mollipothana, Uthupitiya, Ganewalpola, Kekirawa, Habarana, Polonnaruwa, Akkaraipattu, Adalachenai, and Pottuvil.
We’re grateful to Allah for his blessings and to all our donors for their generosity.

We successfully completed phase 4 of the 2024 Zakat campaign.
We reached 26 Masjids, primarily in remote plantation areas, and assisted 2,325 direct recipients and their families, touching over 11,000 lives in the Nuwara Eliya District.
Through our collective efforts, we have touched the hearts of over 37,000 individuals, providing support to more than 8,775 recipients this Ramadan.
We extend our deepest gratitude to Allah for His blessings and to our generous donors. Your kindness has brightened countless lives, serving as a beacon of hope and compassion.
